The relevant R&D personnel and resources will be merged into Baidu Dazi, achieving unification between internal office assistants and external office AI product offerings. This means Baidu will further concentrate its resources to advance its AI office agent business and accelerate its layout in the intelligent agent office market.According to the information, Dodo was previously mainly serving Baidu’s internal employees as an office AI agent tool. Employees can issue tasks to Dodo through Baidu’s internal communication software such as Liu, web or client interfaces, for office scenarios like meeting organization, document processing, and email queries. It can also access knowledge bases and development platforms, supporting code submission and requirement management in the R&D process.Baidu Dazi was launched in March this year, an intelligent agent platform launched by Baidu for personal and enterprise office scenarios. Users only need to describe their work goals, and Baidu Dazi can complete task decomposition, information search, document processing, web operations, and result delivery. It also supports continuous task execution across files and applications. Currently, products such as Baidu Search, Baidu Netdisk, Baidu Maps, Baidu Ability Reach, and the Woodcutting Solutions have been integrated through skills, providing support for scenarios such as research analysis, content creation, PPT generation, and enterprise collaboration.In July this year, Baidu Dazi Enterprise Edition was officially released, supporting enterprises to share skills, project context, and workflow outcomes, enabling unified management of knowledge assets, business processes, and execution capabilities. It has already been implemented in multiple industry clients. According to Baidu, the daily number of questions asked on Baidu Dazi has increased 20 times since its launch, and it has achieved leading performance in intelligent agent evaluations such as PinchBench and DeepResearchBench.After the integration, Baidu Dazi will become a unified office AI agent platform covering internal office, personal productivity, and enterprise collaboration scenarios. The practical capabilities of Dodo in scenarios such as meeting management, knowledge base access, R&D collaboration, and team skill reuse will gradually be integrated into Baidu Dazi Enterprise Edition, further enhancing its ability to organize knowledge accumulation and execute complex workflows.As AI Agents evolve from single assistants to enterprise-level productivity platforms, office AI agents are becoming a new direction for competition among technology companies.
